Bruins' Krejci hits ice for the 1st time since injuring knee

Bob DeChiara / USA TODAY Sports

The Boston Bruins welcomed forward David Krejci back to the practice ice Tuesday for the first time since he suffered a partial tear of the MCL in his left knee last month.

Though he's just returning for light skating drills, head coach Claude Julien told reporters a return to the lineup this weekend isn't out of the realm of possibility.

Krejci, hampered by injury all season, has scored just seven goals and 26 points in 38 games.
