By the Numbers: Seeding, and its impact on your bracket

While filling out a full NCAA Tournament bracket can be a daunting task, past editions can provide some insight into what to expect from each of the 16 seeds.

Here are 20 numbers worth knowing before filling out your tournament bracket.

Number of wins by a No. 16 seed over a No. 1 seed (0-120).

The number of times all four No. 1 seeds have made the Final Four (in 2008).

Tournaments in which a No. 13, No. 14, and No. 15 seed each won a game in the round of 64 (1991, 2013).

The number of times in which a 12-seed has failed to win a game in the last 32 NCAA tournaments.
