Hornets' Al Jefferson leaves game after feeling 'pop' in calf
The Charlotte Hornets got Kemba Walker back for Wednesday's game against the Sacramento Kings, but lost Al Jefferson, as the big man left with a sore right calf and never returned in the team's 113-106 loss.
Jefferson, who missed time with a groin injury earlier this season, limped to the Hornets' bench in the third quarter. His account of the injury is certainly worrisome for Hornets fans.

Jefferson is averaging 17.4 points and 8.8 rebounds - his lowest scoring average in five years and lowest rebounding average since his sophomore season nine years ago.
The Hornets fell to ninth place in the Eastern Conference standings on Wednesday, and they can ill afford another absence by one of their stars.
Walker had missed the previous 18 games with a knee injury.
