The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed running back Bobby Rainey to a one-year tender worth $1.54 milliion, according to Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times

Rainey rushed for 406 yards and a touchdown, on a 4.3 yards-per-carry average, and caught 33 passes for 315 yards and a touchdown last season.

The 27-year-old speedster could supplant Doug Martin as the Buccaneers' primary running back in 2015.
