The Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills have made a reported trade of linebacker Kiko Alonso for running back LeSean McCoy official, the Eagles and Bills announced Tuesday.

McCoy spoke with the team's official website about how the Bills' owners, Terry and Kim Pegula, have made him feel at home.

"They were excellent. They really make me feel like I’m at home," McCoy said. "Terry and Kim are great. They're intelligent and they really care about the players. Everywhere in this league is different and coming here that’s the first thing that I actually noticed. They care about the players. They want me to fit in.

"I met their family and their children, just like they met my family. There was a mutual understanding and a lot of smiles and a lot of fun. We both now have something to look forward to and that’s a championship."

McCoy also appreciated the vision they have for the team.

"It was obvious to me when we talked about the plans that (Terry Pegula) had, not just for myself but for the team, the cause and the coach," said McCoy. "Rex (Ryan) he's excellent. Just the vision he has for this team and myself, it felt like family. I want to play for a team that wants it and (the Pegulas) showed that. They embraced me and my family with open arms and made us feel comfortable."

As for Alonso, he missed the entirety of the 2014 season with a torn ACL after a terrific rookie season with the Bills in which he accumulated 159 total tackles, four interceptions and two sacks.
