The St. Louis Rams have traded quarterback Sam Bradford to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for quarterback Nick Foles.

Though specifics on the draft selections weren't included in the official trade announcement, Adam Schefter of ESPN later reported that the Rams will be receiving both a 2015 fourth-round pick and a 2016 second-round pick as part of the deal, while the Eagles will receive a 2015 fifth-rounder and a conditional 2016 mid-round pick based on Bradford's playing time.

The additional pick headed to Philadelphia will be a third-rounder if Bradford doesn't play at all, and a fourth-rounder if he plays less than 50 percent of the team's offensive snaps.

Ian Rapoport added that the two sides have discussed the deal for weeks, but it wasn't finalized until Tuesday.

Bradford, the Rams' No. 1 overall selection in the 2010 NFL Draft, has missed significant time over the last two years, playing only seven games since the start of the 2013 season. He missed all of this past season after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee for the second consecutive season.

Bradford has a career quarterback rating of 79.3.

Foles was a third-round selection by the Eagles in 2012. His best year was in 2013 when he posted a 119.2 quarterback rating with a 27:2 touchdown-to-interception ratio.
