The Philadelphia Eagles have been among the most active teams since the three-day free-agent negotiating window opened Friday, but it appears they'll lose one of their top offensive playmakers.

Star wide receiver Jeremy Maclin reportedly plans to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs when free agency officially begins Tuesday, according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN, where he'd be reunited with former Eagles coach Andy Reid.

The deal is for $11 million per season, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

The Chiefs will certainly have some work to do in clearing the necessary salary cap space for such a deal, but as the best available player at the position, Maclin would fill the team's most significant roster need.

Just one season removed from an ACL injury, Maclin managed to post an impressive 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2014.
