Report: Bills, LeSean McCoy agree to 5-year contract worth $40M

The Buffalo Bills and star running back LeSean McCoy have agreed on a new five-year contract, according to Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer. 

McCoy's new deal is reportedly worth $40 million, with $26.5 million guaranteed, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. 

In the first year of the contract, McCoy will be paid $16 million. 

McCoy was traded from the Philadelphia Eagles to the Bills on March 3, in exchange for promising linebacker Kiko Alonso. 

The 26-year-old was the league's leading rusher in 2013 and is the most promising offensive weapon the Bills have boasted in over a decade. 

McCoy rushed for 1,319 yards and five touchdowns on 312 carries last season.
