Free-agent guard Nate Robinson has found a new home.

The Seattle native, who has been out of work for close to two months, signed a 10-day contract with the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday.

Robinson is expected to be in uniform, wearing No. 8, for Sunday's game against the Golden State Warriors, according to Marc Spears of Yahoo Sports

Soon-to-be teammate Matt Barnes shared his excitement about the signing.

The Robinson deal makes sense for the Clippers, who have a number of key wing players battling injury.

Barnes, Jamal Crawford and J.J. Redick are all dealing with various leg injuries as the Clippers jockey for playoff positioning in the loaded Western Conference. Los Angeles entered Saturday fifth in the West.

Robinson hasn't played since Jan. 9 after getting traded from the Denver Nuggets to the Boston Celtics. He reached a buyout agreement with the Celtics and has been linked to a number of contenders over the last two months.

The combo guard, who averaged 5.8 points in 14.1 minutes per game with the Nuggets, will reunite with former head coach Doc Rivers in Los Angeles. Despite his low output this season, the veteran has been a capable scorer throughout his career, averaging 17.7 points per-36 minutes and has the ability to execute from long range.

Los Angeles added additional depth Friday, signing Jordan Hamilton to a second 10-day contract.
