Report: 49ers to host Darnell Dockett on free-agent visit Monday

The San Francisco 49ers will reportedly be holding a meeting with free-agent defensive tackle Darnell Dockett on Monday, according to Ed Werder of ESPN.
Dockett was released late last week after 12 seasons with the division-rival Arizona Cardinals, and already appears to be generating some notable interest on the open market.
Though Dockett missed the entire 2014 season due to injury and will be 34 years old when the 2015 campaign gets underway, he has continued to play at a high level in recent years.
A number of other teams can still be expected to show interest, including the Cardinals, who's desire is to have him return at a reduced cost. But Dockett would certainly be a strong fit at defensive end in the 49ers' 3-4 front.
