Orlando City sell all 60,000 tickets for season opener vs. NYCFC
Operation #FillTheBowl is complete.
Not a single seat will be empty at the Citrus Bowl on Sunday as Orlando City have announced that a sellout crowd will be on hand for their inaugural Major League Soccer match versus fellow nascent side New York City FC.

It's a remarkable accomplishment given that Orlando City have yet to play an MLS match, and it should be noted that league attendances have only exceeded 60,000 on a number of occasions, most of which have taken place at the Seattle Sounders' CenturyLink Field.
Orlando City spent three years playing at the Citrus Bowl in the United Soccer League before moving to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in 2014. However, despite the return to the Citrus Bowl this season, the club is planning on having a new downtown stadium ready by 2016.
