PHOTO: James Harden the latest to partake in NBA hat-game one-upsmanship
The NBA is in the midst of a full-fledged hat game revolution, and somewhere along the way, the movement seems to have pushed past the point of fashion statement.
Instead, it's become something of a competition (these are professional competitors, after all), a game of one-upsmanship to determine who can don the silliest lid.
Carmelo Anthony may have been the movement's modern progenitor, and perhaps its most authentic, cutting-edge adherent, but LeBron James, John Wall and scores of others have been applying the pressure with jaw-dropping looks of their own.
A new challenger emerged on Sunday, as Houston Rockets shooting guard James Harden showed up for his team's game against James' Cleveland Cavaliers with a distinctly Amish swagger.
