Sabres reassign Pysyk to Rochester

Pysyk was reassigned to AHL Rochester on Friday, Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News reports.
Analysis:
The sentiment echoed by a few different Buffalo beat writers is that Pysyk, a 2010 first-round draft pick, is easily one of the team's top-six blueliners. Still only 23 years old, he could very well rejoin the Sabres in the near future, especially if the team moves a veteran defenseman before Monday's trade deadline. Pysyk has three points (two goal) through seven NHL games this season, giving him 15 points (four goals) in 70 career games.
