Flames' Giordano injured vs. Devils, will be re-evaluated Thursday

Calgary Flames captain Mark Giordano could miss time after suffering an undisclosed injury during Wednesday's game against the New Jersey Devils.

Giordano stayed in the contest, finishing with a game-high 25:50 time on ice. The blue-liner will be re-evaluated Thursday, the Flames announced after the game.

Giordano is among the league leaders for points by a defenseman with 48, which is also a new career high for the 31-year-old.
