Report: Jaguars expected to hire John Idzik as consultant

The Jacksonville Jaguars could be adding a former general manager to their front office.
Jacksonville is planning to hire John Idzik as a consultant, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Source says Idzik will "focus on cap, cash spending, etc." for #Jaguars

Keeping Idzik away from the roster is a smart move.
As general manager of the New York Jets from 2013-14, Idzik put together a terrible team and was fired along with head coach Rex Ryan in December.
