The Pittsburgh Steelers have reportedly restructured safety Mike Mitchell's contract, according to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
The Steelers also restructured right tackle Marcus Gilbert's contract earlier on Wednesday.
Pittsburgh has generated $6.2 million in salary-cap savings, according to Bouchette.
Mitchell signed a five-year, $25-million contract last March. In his first campaign with the Steelers, he recorded 71 tackles and two forced fumbles in 16 games.
Mark Kaboly of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review is reporting that the Steelers also plan to restructure center Maurkice Pouncey's deal next week.
