Mariners' Paxton to miss 1 week of camp with injured wrists
Steven Bisig / USA TODAY Sports
Seattle Mariners pitcher James Paxton (wrist) is expected to resume full throwing workouts early next week, Bob Dutton of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Analysis:
Paxton hurt both of his wrists while taking a spill during agility drills over the weekend, but it doesn't look like anything more than a minor setback. He still figures to open the season as Seattle's No. 3 or 4 starter.
