Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports / Reuters

The Arizona Cardinals are bringing tight end James Casey in for a visit, Mike Jurecki of FOX Sports 910 in Phoenix reports.

Casey was released by the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday after two seasons. He appeared in all 16 games in 2014, catching three passes for 59 yards and two touchdowns.

The Cardinals currently have five tight ends on their roster: John Carlson, Darren Fells, Andre Hardy, Rob Housler and 2014 second-round pick Troy Niklas. Housler is set to become an unrestricted free agent and is not expected to return in 2015.
