VIDEO: Bruins' Rask slashes Blackhawks' Versteeg in frustration after goal

Billy Hurst / USA Today

Tuukka Rask's solid first period Sunday against the Chicago Blackhawks fell apart in a span of six seconds.

The Boston Bruins netminder looked focused stopping the first 11 shots he faced, but he lost his composure after he was called for delay of game for playing the puck in the restricted area with eight seconds remaining in the period.

Rask had a mini meltdown after Chicago captain Jonathan Toews scored six seconds into the power play. He swung his stick at the post in frustration while the Blackhawks celebrated but hit Kris Versteeg in the leg instead.

Rask received a slashing penalty, giving the Blackhawks a power play to start the second period.
