Tim Jackman has earned a new deal with the Ducks.

The Anaheim forward signed a one-year contract extension with the club reportedly worth $700,000, according to Lance Pugmire of the Los Angeles Times.

Jackman, a second-round pick in the 2001 NHL Draft, has appeared in 48 games for the Ducks this season, with five goals, two assists, a minus-5 rating and 50 shots on goal to his credit.

Set to become an unrestricted free agent at season's end, the new deal marks a modest pay increase over his current deal worth $673,000.
