Seahawks won't be shocked if Marshawn Lynch retires, want answer soon

Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider says his team won't be surprised if running back Marshawn Lynch decides to retire from football this offseason.
"Not really. He does what he wants," Schneider told reporters Thursday at the league's scouting combine. "I have no idea."
Schneider said he understands why Lynch may feel he needs time away from football.
"Everybody needs time away, especially at that position and the way he runs the ball," he said.
Schneider added that he wants Lynch to come to a decision on his future and communicate it to the team as soon as possible.
"We'd like to know soon. I've talked to his people. They know," the GM said.
