5 memorable All-Star Game dunks

The Slam Dunk Contest provides basketball fans with plenty of memorable, indelible images, but Sunday's All-Star Game has seen its own fair share of unforgettable dunks.

Here are five of them.

'Dr. J' posterizes Kareem

When it comes to big-name posters, it doesn't get much bigger or better than Julius "Dr. J" Erving throwing down on Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in an All-Star Game.

Even better, this 1977 classic came in Kareem's former home arena in Milwaukee.

Charles Barkley climbs Mount Mutombo

Dikembe Mutombo made a career out of protecting the basket and wagging his freakishly long finger. Of course, all those years of contesting rim-runs saw him end up on his fair share of posters, too.

Few are as memorable as Charles Barkley sending the big man to the floor during the 1992 All-Star Game.

MJ cleans the glass

It gets lost in his endless list of memorable moments and highlight-reel plays, but Michael Jordan skying in to put back Grant Hill's missed free throw in 1997 was the perfect cap to the first triple-double in All-Star Game history.

Duncan demoralizes 'Zo, with an assist from KG

If there was ever a symbolic passing of the torch from one generation of Hall of Fame big men to another, this was it.

Tim Duncan takes a pass from Kevin Garnett and absolutely crowns Alonzo Mourning, finishing through what looked like a potential 'Zo block.

T-Mac goes coast to coast and off the glass

Who could forget Tracy McGrady going coast to coast, throwing a self-alley-oop pass off the glass from the 3-point line, and then finishing like this?

T-Mac at his finest.
