Two veteran players on the New York Jets' defensive front will be returning for at least another season.
The Jets have officially exercised the 2015 contract options for linebackers Calvin Pace and Jason Babin, the team announced Saturday.
There was some question as to whether the Jets would bring back either player, as each is now 34 years old, but both should continue to provide veteran leadership under new head coach Todd Bowles.
Pace finished the 2014 season with 5 sacks in 16 starts, while Babin started in four of his 16 appearances and tallied two quarterback takedowns.
