A Texas judge has ruled Tom Benson needs help managing his assets as he continues a legal battle with his family over his trust, reports The Times Picayune.

"Even this revered trustee is mortal and no court should be complicit in allowing him more than he can bear if a reasonable and safe alternative is found to 'assist' him."

The 87-year-old New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans owner is being challenged by his family over who should own the franchises after he passes away. Benson recently transferred the ownership to his wife Gayle
