United's Wilfried Zaha makes loan deal to Crystal Palace permanent

Wilfried Zaha will not be going back to Manchester United.

Crystal Palace announced Monday that Zaha, 22, has made his loan move to the club permanent, ensuring he remains with the team that groomed him as a youngster in their academy.

Zaha, a member of the Eagles' academy since the age of 12, left the club for Manchester United in January 2013. Minimal playing time saw him shipped out on loan to Cardiff City and then Palace, where he will now remain for the next five-and-a-half seasons.

The English forward has one goal and one assist in 776 minutes of Premier League action this season, and tweeted his excitement over the move.

A man of few words, it seems. Just do your talking on the pitch, Wilfried.
