The New England Patriots have brought one of their best linebackers in franchise history as a good luck charm for Super Bowl XLIX.
Former Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi will serve as an honorary captain Sunday, when New England squares off against the Seattle Seahawks.
Bruschi was a vital component on each of the Patriots' three Super Bowl winning clubs, and spent the entirety of his 13-year career with New England.
The 41-year-old was named to the All-Pro team in 2003 and 2004.
