With his 35th pass competition in Sunday's Super Bowl against the Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady broke the Super Bowl record for single-game completions.

The record-breaker came on a 12-yard pass to tight end Rob Gronkowski late in the fourth quarter, picking up a key first down on a drive that would see the Patriots find the end zone and take a 28-24 lead with 2:02 to play.

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning set the previous record with 34 completions in last year's Super Bowl.
