The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots engaged in a brief but spirited brawl with seconds left in the Super Bowl and the game's outcome no longer in doubt.
After Patriots quarterback Tom Brady took a knee to run out the clock, Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin started the melee after taking a shot at Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, after which Irvin tried to run away.
Frankly, it was one of the most classless acts in Super Bowl history.
Irvin was ejected from the game and moments later the Patriots took a knee to run out the clock and claim the Super Bowl XLIX victory.
