Flyers' Mason returns to lineup Tuesday as backup to Emery
Adam Hunger / USA TODAY Sports
Steve Mason is back, sort of.
The Philadelphia Flyers netminder will serve as Ray Emery's backup for Tuesday's game against the Arizona Coyotes after being out since Jan. 7 with a lower-body injury, as first reported by Sarah Baicker of CSN.
If all goes well, Mason - who has posted a record of 8-12-6 with a .920 save percentage - will get the start Thursday against the Winnipeg Jets.
