Saints, Pelicans owner Tom Benson releases statement regarding family's lawsuit

New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans owner Tom Benson has released a statement following a lawsuit filed against him by his family Thursday.

The suit came a day after Benson transferred ownership of the two teams to his wife upon his passing. 

Benson's third wife, Gayle, has no blood relation anyone involved in the lawsuit.
