Raj Mehta / USA TODAY Sports

Dan Enos has resigned as head coach at Central Michigan to fill the offensive coordinator position with Arkansas, head coach Bret Bielema announced on Thursday.

Sports Illustrated's Pete Thamel first reported the coaching move.

Enos reportedly informed his team of his plans on Thursday. He went 26-36 in five years at Central Michigan.

Enos will earn $550,000 with Arkansas, with his contract running to June 30, 2018, according to Kurt Voigt of The Associated Press. This is an increase on the $360,000 he was earning as head coach at Central Michigan, as listed on USA Today.

Enos will replace Jim Chaney, who left the Razorbacks to become the coordinator at Pittsburgh under Pat Narduzzi.
