Kobe misses 2nd straight game Monday

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Kobe Bryant will not play Monday against the Phoenix Suns. The Lakers had listed him as doubtful for the game Saturday, but confirmed his absence Monday.

The 36-year-old future Hall of Famer, who made a candid confession over the weekend that retirement has crossed his mind this season, will sit for rest.

Bryant sat Friday on the second half of a back-to-back. He also missed two consecutive games last week despite having an off day between them.
