Report: Falcons plan to hire Seahawks DC Dan Quinn as head coach

The Atlanta Falcons appear to be closing in on their next head coach.
While nothing can be official until after the Seattle Seahawks play in the Super Bowl on Feb. 1, the Falcons have privately told people that their plan is to hire Seattle defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The Falcons have already met with Quinn and thus are permitted to do so again on the Seahawks' bye week. As Rapoport reported following the NFC Championship Game, the team has scheduled that second interview for Monday.
All indications continue to be that Quinn is the Falcons' top candidate and should they be comfortable waiting out the process until after the Super Bowl, he could become their next head coach.
