Report: NFL to hold 1st-ever Veteran Combine in March
Brian Spurlock / USA TODAY Sports
The NFL will stage the first-ever Veteran Combine on March 22 in Arizona, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
Details are scarce, but Rapoport says the event will provide veteran free agents the chance to show off their skills.
It doesn't appear likely any prominent free agents will attend the event. NFL free agency opens March 10, so all big-ticket players will be off the market.
