N.J. governor Chris Christie to pay his own way to Green Bay

New Jersey governor and Cowboys superfan Chris Christie will be in attendance for Sunday's divisional playoff game between Dallas and the Green Bay Packers, but this time, he'll be paying his own way.

Christie came under fire after Cowboys owner Jerry Jones footed the bill for him to fly to Dallas via private jet to watch the team's wild-card matchup against the Detroit Lions.

Jones referred to Christie as "part of our mojo" during a radio interview Tuesday. The Cowboys have yet to lose a game with Christie and his orange sweater in attendance.

"Not wanting to risk breaking the team's 5-0 streak by messing with karma, Governor Christie, his orange sweater and his son Andrew will all travel to Lambeau Field this weekend to attend the game against the Green Bay Packers," spokesman Michael Drewniak said in a statement.

"The Governor will be paying for travel and tickets for himself, his sweater and his son to make sure we keep silliness out of the football season."
