Mateo Kovacic extends contract with Inter Milan until 2019

Inter Milan have secured the services of Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic for the foreseeable future.

Kovacic is enjoying an excellent season at the San Siro having notched four goals and one assist through 17 appearances. At the young age of 20, he's already established himself as a staple of Inter's midfield, with his dribbling skills and eye for goal earning high praise.

At the international level, Kovacic was part of Croatia's World Cup squad that was eliminated in the group stage, and he's proving to be an integral component of the national team's quest to qualify for Euro 2016.
