A former Georgia defensive tackle with a troubled resume is one of eight early enrollees for January classes at Alabama.
Jonathan Taylor, who was dismissed from the Bulldogs in July, is set to play for the Crimson Tide in 2015 should he maintain a clean record.
The junior was booted from Georgia's football program following arrests for theft and aggravated assault.
Alabama athletic director Bill Battle said in a statement Wednesday that a lengthy investigation proved Taylor is worthy of a second chance.
