Adrian Peterson lawsuit set for February

The lawsuit the NFLPA filed on behalf of Adrian Peterson is set to be heard in federal court on Feb. 6, according to Tom Pelissero of USA TODAY Sports

Peterson's lawsuit was filed in December after his suspension was upheld, leaving him ineligible for reinstatement until April 2015.

The main argument from the NFLPA is that Peterson should have served no more than two games under the CBA after pleading no contest to a charge of misdemeanor reckless assault.

Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer recently said he hopes to see Peterson back with the team next season.
