Cavs' Irving suffering from back tightness
Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports
Already without LeBron James, and coming off of a blowout loss to the Dallas Mavericks, the Cleveland Cavaliers received another blow on Sunday afternoon.
Point guard Kyrie Irving was substituted with 6:41 remaining in the third quarter of the team's loss to Dallas. It was announced late in the fourth quarter that Irving would not return due to lower back tightness.
Irving scored six points on 2-of-9 shooting in the 109-90 loss, Cleveland's fifth in the last seven games. He added three assists, two rebounds and a steal.
