Lions' Joique Bell sat out 1st quarter vs. Bears due to violation of team rules

It appears a disciplinary matter was what kept Detroit Lions running back Joique Bell on the sidelines throughout the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears.
As head coach Jim Caldwell indicated after the game, Bell was benched due to a violation of team rules.
The missed time certainly didn't affect Bell's performance when he did manage to get on the field, however, as he notched a team-leading 74 rushing yards and the game-winning touchdown.
