Ben Bishop's injury may be more serious than first feared.
The Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender was downgraded to doubtful for the club's weekend games due to a lower-body injury, according to head coach Jon Cooper.
Bishop is believed to have suffered the injury during Monday's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, but it was initially not thought to be serious.
The Lightning play back-to-back games Friday and Saturday in New Jersey and on Long Island.
Bishop posted a record of 16-6-2 with a .913 save percentage in 26 appearances prior to the injury.
