Patrik Elias: (Groin) Activated, Will Play Wednesday
Elias (groin) will be activated from injured reserve to play Wednesday against the Senators, Tom Gulitti of the Bergen Record reports.
Analysis:
Elias missed the last five games with the groin injury, which he initially suffered earlier in the month before enduring a setback in his first game back. The time off the ice has seemingly done the trick in enabling him to recover, so he'll slot back in on the second line Wednesday night, joining Travis Zajac and Martin Havlat. The veteran has scuffled this season for the Devils, producing just 12 points and a minus-12 rating across his 26 contests.
