Bulls' Noah doubtful Sunday vs. Heat

David Banks-USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Bulls may be without center Joakim Noah for the third consecutive game on Sunday when they take on the Miami Heat. Noah, who's been dealing with a sore right ankle since rolling it in a game against the Charlotte Hornets last Wednesday, is listed as doubtful

For the past few seasons, there's hardly been a better show in the NBA than a game between the Heat and Bulls - or, more specifically, a game between the Heat and Noah.

Noah's legitimate dislike for the Heat - and their dislike of him in return - felt like a callback to the rough-and-tumble NBA of eras past.

But the Heat no longer have LeBron James, and on Sunday the Bulls may not have Noah. It's hard not to feel like some of the spirit's being sapped from this once-great rivalry.
