Manchester City's Edin Dzeko available vs. Everton
A potent Manchester City attack increased its depth with news that striker Edin Dzeko will be available to play Saturday's match against Everton.
Manager Manuel Pellegrini confirmed Friday that the Bosnian striker has overcome a calf injury and has a chance to appear in a match for the first time since Nov. 8.
His services, however, may not be immediately required thanks to the blistering scoring pace set by Sergio Aguero, who has recorded 14 goals in 14 matches this season in the Premier League.
The club likely won't want to disrupt the rhythm Augero appears to be in, but Dzeko should see plenty of time on the pitch during the busy holiday schedule. City will play six matches after Saturday's encounter, with their final holiday fixture taking place on Jan. 1.
