Terms of the deal haven't been disclosed by the team, but multiple reports suggest the contract is worth $700,000 with a $10,000 bonus for every point earned in net.
Martin Brodeur's pro-rated salary is a little more than $490,000. So he'll earn that, plus $10,000 for every #stlblues point when he plays.

“It feels great,” Brodeur told the team's website of the signing “I really appreciate the opportunity for me to be here the last few days. It definitely worked out real well. I’m excited for this fresh start.”
Brodeur appeared in 39 games for the New Jersey Devils last season, posting a record of 19-14-6 with a .901 save percentage. For his career, however, Brodeur has won a record 688 games - all with the Devils - since joining the league in 1991, with an also-record 124 shutouts.
The Blues made this move on the heels of an injury to starter Brian Elliott, who is considered week-to-week with a knee injury. Jake Allen remains a talented and viable option in net, but Brodeur appears set to receive an opportunity to reach 700 wins before it's all said and done.
Hitchcock mercifully ends Brodeur as backup BS; simply not wired for it: "If he’s here, he’s going to play. He’s not going to back up"

“Marty still has the desire to compete and his resume speaks for itself,” said general manager Doug Armstrong. “It seemed like an easy solution.”
Brodeur has also won three Stanley Cups, a goal that remains firmly on the Blues' radar.
