Ovechkin enters Leafs' training room to apologize, hug Leo Komarov after blindside hit

Alex Ovechkin's blindside bump on Leo Komarov appeared callous, but his reaction was nothing but compassionate.

The Washington Capitals' captain walked into the Toronto Maple Leafs' training room to apologize to his former KHL linemate and even gave Komarov a hug, according to various reports

Komarov left the game and did not return following the hit, which Maple Leafs head coach Randy Carlyle described as "'Oops, I hit you on purpose.'"

Carlyle told reporters Komarov didn't feel well after the incident and is undergoing concussion protocol, but is feeling better.
