Atlanta Falcons pass rusher Osi Umenyiora's NFL career is reportedly five games from its conclusion.
According to WSB sports director Zach Klein, Umenyiora attended Troy's college football game Saturday and announced at halftime via video message that he will retire at the conclusion of the NFL season. Troy is his alma mater.
Umenyiora spent the first nine seasons of his career with the New York Giants, winning two Super Bowls with the team, before moving to the Falcons last season. If he doesn't record another sack, he will finish his career with 85, good for 49th on the all-time list.
