Stars sign Spezza to 4-year contract extension reportedly worth $30 million

Terms of the deal were not disclosed by the club, but Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reported earlier on Friday that Spezza's deal is worth $30 million, or an average of $7.5 million per season until 2018-19.
Spezza was due to become an unrestricted free agent. He has 18 points including 14 assists in 20 games with the Stars this season.
