VIDEO: Brandon Knight bricks potential game-winning layup
Benny Sieu / USA Today
With the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets tied at 105 as the final seconds of overtime ticked away, Bucks' Brandon Knight picked off a pass from Joe Johnson and broke away for what should have been a game-winning layup at the buzzer.
Except things didn't exactly go as planned:
Knight's teammates were as traumatized as one would expect.
Luckily for Knight, who shot a putrid 5-of-20 on the night, he'll still be able to sleep tonight, as the Bucks eventually emerged with a thrilling, triple-overtime victory.
Knight has been impressive to start the season for the surprising 7-5 Bucks, but other than the result, this is surely one he'll want to forget.
