Report: Saints place Brandin Cooks on season-ending IR

The New Orleans Saints have placed rookie wideout Brandin Cooks on season-ending injured reserve, according to Nick Underhill of the New Orleans Advocate.

Cooks broke his thumb during the Saints Week 11 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, and was originally expected to miss 4-6 weeks following successful surgery.

In ten games this season, Cooks racked up 53 receptions for 550 yards and three touchdowns.
